Malta Fireworks Festival 2026: Iber&Co at Fort St Angelo
The Malta International Fireworks Festival is one of the most anticipated events of spring on the island. Every year, the skies above the historic Grand Harbour light up with spectacular displays of colour, music and light.

Iber&Co has been invited to provide the catering service for a special event organised by Heritage Malta at Fort St Angelo, one of the most iconic historical locations in the country.

Malta has a long tradition of fireworks that is deeply connected to the island’s cultural celebrations and festas. The Malta International Fireworks Festival brings this tradition to an international stage, welcoming pyrotechnic teams from Malta and abroad.
Over several nights in April, different locations across the island host spectacular shows, culminating in a grand finale over the Grand Harbour between Valletta and the Three Cities.
For locals and visitors alike, it is one of the most magical nights of the year.
A Historic Setting: Fort St Angelo
For this special evening, Heritage Malta has organised an exclusive event inside Fort St Angelo, the historic fortress located in Birgu.
Fort St Angelo has played a central role in Malta’s history for centuries, serving as a strategic stronghold during the time of the Knights of St John and offering one of the most breathtaking viewpoints over the Grand Harbour.
During the festival, the fortress becomes a spectacular vantage point where guests can watch the fireworks illuminate the harbour and the bastions of Valletta.
Iber&Co Catering for the Evening
For this special occasion, the Iber&Co team will be preparing the catering experience for the event, bringing the flavours of Spanish gastronomy to this unique setting.
The menu will feature a curated selection inspired by the kitchen of Iber&Co, designed to be enjoyed during an evening of celebration.
