Summer in Malta is made for long evenings.
The kind that begin with a stroll through historic streets, continue with good conversation, and somehow end much later than planned with a glass still in hand.
That’s exactly the atmosphere you’ll find at the Malta International Wine Festival, one of the highlights of Malta’s summer calendar.
From 17th to 21st June 2026, the beautiful Argotti Gardens in Floriana will once again welcome wine lovers from Malta and beyond for five evenings dedicated to discovery, culture and great wine.
And this year, we’re excited to be part of it once again.
What Makes the Malta International Wine Festival So Special?
There are many wine events throughout Europe, but few enjoy a setting quite like Argotti Gardens.

Visitors can expect:
- International wine producers
- Guided tastings
- Live entertainment
- Food experiences
- Educational wine sessions
- A vibrant summer atmosphere

A Journey Through Spain at the Iber&Co Stand
For us, wine has never been just about what’s inside the bottle.
Every wine tells a story.
A landscape.
A region.
A family.
A tradition.
At this year’s festival, visitors will have the opportunity to explore a carefully selected collection of Spanish wines chosen by the Iber&Co team.
From crisp whites perfect for Malta’s summer evenings to elegant reds full of character, our selection celebrates the diversity that has made Spain one of the world’s most respected wine-producing countries.
Our team will be there throughout the festival to help guests discover new favourites, answer questions and share the stories behind each bottle.
Because sometimes the most memorable wine isn’t the most expensive one.
It’s the one connected to a great moment.
Why Spanish Wines Continue to Surprise and Inspire
Spain is home to some of the most exciting wine regions in the world.
Many visitors arrive familiar with Rioja but quickly discover there is so much more to explore.
Fresh Albariños from Galicia.
Elegant sparkling wines from Catalonia.
Bold reds from Ribera del Duero.
Unique expressions from lesser-known regions that deserve a place on every wine lover’s radar.
The Malta International Wine Festival offers the perfect opportunity to experience this diversity in one place.

More Than Wine: A Celebration of Mediterranean Living
One of the reasons we love this festival is that it captures something very close to our philosophy.
Wine is best enjoyed slowly.
Shared with friends.
Accompanied by conversation.
Surrounded by good food.
It’s a way of experiencing life that feels equally Spanish and Mediterranean.
The Malta International Wine Festival isn’t simply about tasting wines.
It’s about creating memories.
And that’s something we can always raise a glass to.
